So far, I have done frozen pizza (the brand I buy actually does fit) and I tried to do crispy tofu, but it did not come out crispy. I'm guessing this may have been because of the marinade?
We have an air fryer that we don't use as often now because we have a meal subscription service (like Hello Fresh, Every Plate, etc). I will say that everything we've cooked in the air fryer has always been delicious. We've done potatoes, meat, fish, etc. I'm popping in here to write that tonight my husband is cooking flank stank in the air fryer. I will keep you posted on the results! I think it's a Mongolian Beef recipe he's made before.
We also have a General Tso's chicken and Ketchup Chicken recipe we've done in the air fryer (not sure why they all appear to be Asian recipes....) and those are also great. It makes much less of a mess than when we do those on the stove top - less grease splatter all over our kitchen floor that our dog tries to lick up 😳
The only thing I haven't yet tried is salmon but that's on my radar.
I contemplated buying an Instant Pot a few years ago am an glad we opted for the air fryer instead.
No. I did try to make kale chips in it once but I over fried them and they burned. I think early on I tried "cooking" more things. But at least my model which is the drawer style and only about 8 inches square it's better for heating things. Although baking fish is a new thing and turned out really well. I generally don't think about using it for things that take longer than 10 minutes.
I have a small Instant Pot Vortex air fryer. I use it to reheat pizza, cook salmon, and heat the occasional packaged and/or frozen item. I like having it around and the model I have I can store on a shelf off the counter.

@sarah too That's helpful, thanks. Have you ever used it for roasting vegetables, or baked potatoes?

I’m still air fryer-less, but I also have these questions.
