    A Leanness Haiku

    in Mindset

    From skwigg's journal:

Leanness is the result of consistency. Consistency is the result of sustainability. For something to be sustainable, it has to be enjoyable. Which is why bread and freedom are key players, not obstacles.

OMG, it's a leanness haiku. LOL

I still have to counter occasional thoughts that I'm "doing it wrong" and that "getting serious" is in order. This almost always happens when I'm stressed about something totally unrelated. Go figure!

I don't act on these urges to restrict. That is actually key to staying lean because restriction is always followed by backlash and reactive overeating. THAT will mess me up. Restriction is the fattening thing to be avoided, not bread, or joy, or satisfaction.
