Coffee and a snack! I love it. It’s funny how we get caught in those false dichotomy either/or situations.

First time in Zgym in awhile. I did beginner strength #13. It went well. I was surprised that I didn't die after such a long hiatus but disappointed in how much upper body strength I’ve lost. I don’t have a set plan for how to use Zgym at this point. Maybe just a few days a week. It seems like it is too much intensity for me for every day.

I’ve missed about a week of work outs just being really busy. I started back with mobility drills 3 tonight and my body feels so much better after the stretch. I‘m hoping things settle down and I can get consistent again. I’m still walking here and there as well.

I did 2 rounds of beginner KB #7 tonight. I have not been feeling spunky for about a week now. It’s getting warmer and my BPs are low. It’s hard to get motivated! I’m back at it. Consistency over perfection.

I’ve been taking a podcast walk every night after H goes to sleep. It is really excellent for stress reduction and general perspective. Today it rained, so I did Beginner KB #6. I’m definitely going to feel that tomorrow. I wish I had time to do both in the same day, but I can't figure out how to make that work.

I took a podcast walk both days this weekend. I really enjoy listening to something inspiring and strolling during sunset. It’s good for the body and soul.

I did one round of upper body and abs #6 today. I normally take Friday off, but I’ve been trying to do a little more lately. My motivation level was not there. I did negative pull ups instead of assisted and left the weight off the hollow scissors. At the end of one round, I decided I was in more of a stretchy mood. I did stick ups and wall angels, scapular push ups, puppy pose, cobra and child’s pose to finish it out. That was much more my speed today. Looking forward to some KBs tomorrow.

I did cardio shred #46B today, and really liked it. That’s amazing because I usually haaaate anything with cardio in the title. Might have to get a wee more open minded.

Stretch and tone #20 today. I boogered my knee at work today (Damn cabinets) so I just modified anything that hurt as I went. It’s nicely bruised so I doubt I can put much weight on it for the next couple of days. I’m so graceful!

Bodyweight beginners 10 and a 30 minute walk. My knees have been creaky and aching in plank, which is weird. I did the reptiles from the floor to take the pressure off.

Stretch and tone #10 and a short walk today. I am coming up on 2 months of regular zgyms, and I’m so happy with my progress. They are getting more manageable and I’m not at all bored. Win win.

Today I did 2 rounds of upper body and abs basics #12. I wanted to go for 3 but my arms were toasted and I was short on time. I get ridiculously excited when I can actually do all the moves in a work out without modifying. This was one of those.

I also did Beg Bodyweight 23 today. I planned to only do 1 round, but it felt really good, so I finished it. I’m so impressed that I’m getting through whole work outs without dying every now and then! It’s like real progress is happening over here.

I was in a funny mood today, and still sore from the weekend. I did mobility drills 3 while drinking a beer. Don’t judge me! 😝

Beginner bodyweight 9 for me too. I’m pretty sore from yesterdays KB sesh so I modified the plank knee tuck/leg lift to be off one knee and took the jumps out of the jump lunges. I gave the burpee squat twists a try, and did not fall flat on my face. That was pretty awesome!

Today was a 30 minute podcast walk and then beginner kettlebell #8. Someone mentioned it awhile back, and it seems like a pretty straight up strength session. It was pretty heart thumpy with all the swings, but i loved it. I was drenched afterwards and felt great. Then I promptly add a bag of popcorn and M&Ms with my tot. Was a good afternoon!

I know some here are using Life Weights Faster by Jen Sinkler. She also has an email program, where she will send you like 2-4 work outs per week based on your preferences. Not sure about a more yoga dominant program, but yoga for adrienne is a great resource that is mostly free.

Lol, @katie you are making me feel guilty! We also had a rough day in toddler land. I planned a podcast walk and Zgym, but only did the walk. There is always tomorrow I guess. How did you guys decide it was time to move off the beginner schedule? Just dive in and see what happens? Is there a generally accepted time frame?

Today I went back to stretch and tone #18. It was a little too long for my taste. These are getting easier and I’m hating dancers stretch less, so progress! I’m hoping to get in a real KB workout this weekend. Feeling better!
